I am new to the world on non-linear Pro audio applications... I've used PLENTY of other NLEs ove the years, Director, Flash, AfterEffects, Final Cut Pro, miscellaneous 2-Track editors & such... but nothing THIS heavy.

I will be attempting to offload some tracks from my 20-Bit ADAT XT-20 units via the MOTU PCI soulution into Logic Pro.

Are there any things I need to be aware of...? Will this be a nightmare to figure-out or a breeze to do...? I look forward to the ability to do SO MUCH more in the same time in the NLE world rather than zero'ing-out an analog board, re-patching the patch-bays... recalling settings, marking track-sheets, ICK!!! I can't WAIT to be able to just "Recall" a mix or save a mix to come back to later and NOT have to worry about losing what you've worked so hard to get to.

Thanks for any input. My system and software should be here in the next week or two.

Thanks
