Anyone here downloaded/installed this surround sound software plugin for iTunes ?

Its a demo but will I benefit anything if I install it since I don't have a surround sound set up just stereo speakers ?

Plus the author of the program is hoping to build it into an as yet unfounded hardware device!

The read me file contains neither an email address nor website address?
