Hiya
Why is it when I create a title in iMovie, just the ordinary black background title with movie name etc, when I preview it in once its been added to the timeline and also once encoded and viewed as the finish product the text is pixelated? I just cant seem to get it looking nice and smooth.. just looks pants.. all I'm doing is adding text to the title template and sticking it in the template.

The movie is probably at 640x480 resolution. Once the text is rendered, it becomes very low resolution, as well.

Viewing 640x480 video on a significantly higher resolution screen will generally look quite pixelated. However, when you view it on a standard definition television, it will look normal.
