Does anyone know how I can get a colour signal form my Powerbook G4 to my PAL tv via an s-video out?? All I can get at the minute is a black and white signal . Thanks in advance.

Have you set the video format correctly in monitor preferences? (PAL/SECAM for Europe, NTSC for US and Japanese TVs) Wrong output standard can have the effect you describe.

It should "just work". Try unplugging and replugging the adapter a few times. There are a lot connectors in that little thing that need to make good contact. It worked for me.

Thanks, it's working fine now. It seems that the scart plug was pushed too tightly into the socket!!

hello

On that same topic, when i plug my PB into my tv using the s-video adaptor i get so much flimmering on the tv screen, for example the white parts of the screen become all differnt colours. THere seems to be this scanning rainbow of light that passes over the tv screen.

I've tried all the different settings but nothing seemed to solve this problem


anyone know's what i can do to fix this?
