Depends on the format of the sat. stream

e.g. if it uses DVB-S you will want to look at http://defyne.org/dvb

I don't know where you are, or what service you are using, so can't really help any more than that.

I am on Hotbird, with a subscription to TPS channels; I am currently using a Humax receiver with PCMCIA interface. Hope it helps, thanks for your answer !
