Same with "are we there yet" seems that i can only do an avi converstion not a VOB rip, with Ice Age and Are we there yet i only get the extra bonus stuff working as a direct VOB, not the main feature film

My Mac Mini will not rip any DVD. Handbrake errors out with a "No Valid Title Found" and MacTheRipper errors out stating "bad sectors". I've had the DVD drive replaced and reinstalled OS X, same thing. However, using the same exact versions of the software I stated on my Intel iMac, I'm able to rip any DVD.

Why and how can my Mac Mini be locking out my ability to rip DVDs? The DVD/CDRW drive works fine otherwise. I'm able to burn CDs and watch DVDs with no problems.

marknicholls: just try another decrypter

baw: have you played any DVDs the normal way on your mini (DVD Player or VLC)? Sometimes if the region code of the drive has never been set it can't be used for ripping

in additon to Uncle Skeleton:
you need to play the dvd for a few seconds to make any ripper functional... but, there are some copyright protection systems on the market, which cannot be handled by one ripper... but by another....
