I was just wondering what a decent quality cheap way of recording onto the computer would be? Currently I have an Audio Technica AT-825, a Griffin PowerWave and several software options. Is this setup reasonable for this type of application? Also, what is the best software, I have Deck, ProTools, and Peak. BTW, this is for recording of brass instruments (mostly trumpet).
