I have a 61 minute project. the source video is uncompressed video and audio... 107GB), After bringing it into iMovie it is reduced to 13GB in .dv format. BTW: iMove hung at the end of the import - the .dv file size was no longer incrasing so I force quit and when reopening iMovie it found the file in its trash and I droped it back onto the timeline and added chapters.
all is well - it played fine. Then I brought it into iDVD 5.0.2 and it encoded fine, but after encoding Audio, when it started to burn I got Error -34506... multiplexing error.
A shorter version of the same file works ok (ie 20 minutes vs 61).
Any ideas? How long should I let iMovie sit there after the progress bar is done converting to .dv?
