Will there be a noticeable difference at that bit rate between the two encoders? I've read that itunes has a bad mp3 encoder, but will it be substantially different than the LAME encoder at such a high bitrate?

Right now I am encoding with LAME and importing to itunes, if there is no major difference I would rather encode directly with itunes.

I can't image you could possibly hear a difference at that bitrate.

I think I'll enconde with itunes because the LAMe encoder is sooooo slow!!!
