i just figured out how to do stuff with garage band today (im stoked about that). i recorded a song and stuff, i even exported it to itunes. i wanna know how to convert that aiff file to an mp3 tho so i can share it. can someone please help me out with that?

also id like to add horns (not a loop, i wanna use the keyboard screen to put the notes in) and add a volume trail out. how do those two things as well?

Check the GarageBand Help menu for help on recording software instruments.

AIFFs can be converted to whatever the import preferences in iTunes are set to by going to the Advanced menu and choosing "Convert selection to [...]".

So if your iTunes preferences are set to import as mp3, that menu choice IN ITUNES will say "Convert selection to mp3".
