As some of you may know, i am a learning video editor...so i am using a DV cable and my only firewire 400 port on my powermac g5. I plan on getting an iSight (yes i understand that i can use my dv camera as a chatting device) and i would like to know what that firewire cable adapter is for. Also, if that wont help me in getting another firewire 400 port, possibly from the fw800 or a usb2.0 port, is there a way i can use my currently plugged in dv cable (6 to 4 pin) as a cabling for the isight?
I am really eager to spend my money for an isight (or a psp, depending if i can keep my current editing setup...lol), so can you please answer my question and give me some buying advice...thnx
