Hi,

Just wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with connecting the 23" hd cine display to other video sources such as high definition digital television decoders? or connecting it to say ps2 or dvd players??? i am about to buy the 23" cine display but i want to be able to use it for other purposes such as play my game console and view television and play dvds...

I was thinking of perhaps getting a video capture card and then routing it through the G5? but i don't think quality will be that good... whats an acceptable solution? is there the possibility of connecting the screen directly into some sort of converter/adaptor device that is connected to the various video sources i have?

Thanks!

Jia

You might be better served with Dell's 24" screen. It has several different video inputs, and it's quite a bit cheaper, too.

Last time I checked, Dell's screen doesn't do 16:9.

This Viewsonic box has DVI output that could go straight to your Apple Cinema.

It does. I think earlier versions stretched to fit the full 16:10, but I know my 2405 displays 16:9 correctly.
