I am trying to import 1 minute of family video to FCE. It no longer recognizes my camera. I have recently run the security updates, and other updates via Software Update.

Can anyone help me? I am shooting a wedding tomorrow, and it would be really nice to be able to import the footage!

OSX 10.4.2, FCE-HD 3.0, on both an eMac 1.0GHz/768MB, and an iMac 1.8GHz/1GB. FCE will not recognize my camera on either machine!

Camera is a Canon ZR65MC, which was working fine about a week ago. I have two of these cameras, and FCE will not recognize either.

I found help at the Apple Discussions page for FCE. There are instructions there to delete all of the Quicktime Receipts in the Library folder, and then manually download Quicktime from the Apple page. After re-booting, FCE now recognizes my camera as before.

Hope this helps someone else. I was going crazy for better than an hour trying to get things to work!
