EyeTV is driving me CRAZY!!! I'm trying to record off my camcorder. I figured out that most capture problems can be fixed by either unplugging/replugging the USB connection to the Plextor video-capture box and/or launching/quit/relaunching EyeTV. So far so good. What remain unfathomable, though, are:
- How can I tell if a recording is in progress? I can see the little timer on the remote -- if its numbers are changing, does that mean I'm recording?
- If so, how come even after I press the remote's Record button, the button still offers Record and not Stop as an option? I can't figure out how to stop recording.
- How come my recording doesn't show up on the list of recordings/programs?
All of this makes it very difficult to determine if things are working as intended.
