iDVD error-1 message confounds me!

For three years I have been burning DVDs with iDVD on OSX (Panther) with a G-5 without incident. I purchased a new iMac G-5 with OSX (Tiger) last month with the the upgraded iDVD software.

Most of my burns have been unsuccessful! The software goes through the encoding process, then tells me there has been an error in the encoding: an error#-1.

I've tried changins templates. I switched back and forth betrrn "best performance" and "best quality" preferences. I've tried different projects with different templates. SOMETIMES I am successful... but I don't know why!

What does this mean? How can I fix it? I run a high school television station and all of the programs we produce get burned to DVD for playback on our cable station.

Thanks for ANY help you can give!

Mark
