Hello all,

Just browsing the threads around here and don't see much happening for Pro Audio Applications. So, I figured I would start one up here and see if anyone around here uses there mac for recording/editing/mixing/sound design/composing/scoring or any other sorts of audio stuff.

This could be a cool place to share questions about programs and learn all those tricks that helps work go smoother.

So if any people here are using and apps such as Logic, Digital Performer, ProTools, Nuendo, etc. please make some posts here.

I've looked all over the net and can't seem to find many good, structured audio forums that are with mac users.

I personally am running Logic Pro 7.1 and ProTools LE 6.9 with a digi002 rack. My G5 Quad is on order, so I'm currently down and out right now. But as soon as I get it, I will be working on the sound design and scoring of a feature independent film and also some other short films.

Any other users out there?

I'm taking a intro to synthesized computer music class. We're using Max/MSP, Reason, Digital Performer, and Peak. I'm just starting out so it's all new for me.

Cool,
I've used Reason before and dabbled and little bit in DP (very powerful program).

Do you go to a school devoted to music or audio?

I took a few classes like that when i was in school for audio engineering.

Are you guys doing stuff yet with quite a few tracks, or quantizing or working to specific time signatures or tempos yet?
