Is it possible to copy the sound output and send it as a stream to sound-in?

What I would like to do is be able to play music files to people connected to the same Ventrilo server as I. (although I have sought the same in Skype...)

Ideally, I would be able to do this without losing sound myself.

I know on the Windows side, that Ventrilo has mixer settings that let you do that, but the mac version lacks it.

Is there any other way of re-routing the sound?
