How do I preserve albums when I burn my Photo library to DVD? At present I get the months 1-12 and the dates 1-31 but no indication iof what the content is. It would take me forever to find selected photos. This is my first post. Please direct me to the correct locatiion for an answer.

First, welcome.

That's hard to do, as the specific albums are sorted within the iPhoto software, and the photo files themselves are sorted by date (year > month > day) within the finder. All iPhoto is doing is arranging those files in a certain way within iPhoto.
