I'm working on a video project where one of my outputs has to be in RealPlayer (progressive download in three sizes, to be specific).
I've downloaded a copy of Sorenson Squeeze 4.1 for the Mac. However, due to a bug (which Sorenson claims is in the Real SDK), it is pretty much impossible to output Real files (why they're selling a $400+ product with a known - and huge - bug, and not being more upfront about it is beyond me, but never underestimate the slimeballs in the marketing dept...)
Anyone know of a product which will let me take my Quicktime DV movies and turn them into Real? I'd prefer a Quicktime plugin, but at this point I'll use anything. I've downloaded Compression Master, and it seems to work, but at $500 it seems a bit steep for me, just to compress to one format. Any cheaper suggestions?
