Hello all,

I have a question regarding the iSight. I currently have one setup \up on my mac mini and it works fine, however I want to be able to capture video (for use with EvoCam) from the other side of my room. Yes..I could move the mac, but do not want to.

So....is there anyway to extend the firewire cable; maybe by some type of connector and connecting another firewire cabel to it, or maybe using a 20ft cable, or something along those lines...

If that will not work (even if it does)...does anyone know of a wireless mac compatible webcam?

Thanks,

Kris

Firewire cables have a maximum length of 15 ft, but you can chain up to 16 of them.

Try a firewire hub. Or I am sure they sell female to female connectors for chaining firewire cables together.
