There seem to be all kinds of problems with iDVD. I've had nothing but problems so far. The latest one is failure to burn a disc, which many others seem to be reporting.

I get to the final stages of burning then get this -

"The recording device reported the hardware error: Internal target failure. (0x44, 0x00.)"

I can't find any info. the DVD is a Verbatim DVD-R. Is there actually any hope of successfully burning DVDs on a Mac/iDVD?

Dual 2 G, 2GB RAM, 10.4.2

Thanks. I managed, on my third attempt, to successfully complete the process. Fingers crossed for future projects, but I have to say that the 'from capture to DVD' path that Apple highlight with their apps doesn't feel all that smooth.
