Does anyone out there have any (good) experience with software and/or hardware to transfer their LPs to iTunes? I've heard some favorable things about iMic and Final Vinyl, but has anyone tried Audio Hijack Pro?
Also, do you need more than just the LP, turntable and the right software to convert?

Thanks
Dan

The subject of converting vinyl to digital has come up a number of times. Have you tried searching the forums? That should answer most of your questions.

Hi Dan
I have just joined this forum-the first I have ever tried
The reason I joined is because I used to be able to record CD's from my LP's on my PC, but now I have a mac I do not know how to do this
Did you find out??
I would love to know how to do it and what if any software is required
Thanks
Maconfused

CD spin doctor has worked for me and it even tracks out the recording for you after the conversion. You can get an adapter by ADS, look at:

We used to be able to do this with Toast and the direct Mic input that Mac's used to have. Is there some sort of USB mic/Input that you can use now?

I just did a whole batchload of old tapes and I have earlier converted some LPs with CD Spin Doctor. It's a great tool for the job.
