So, I've got a new 20" screen and I can't help but notice how much bigger it is than my 13" TV. The LCD accepts DVI and VGA. Right now, I have it hooked up via VGA, because my eMac can't do any better, but eventually I plan to get a new Mac (probably a mini) and use DVI with it. So, my question is: What's the best video in solution for the Mac out there now?
Ideally I would like to hook it up to TV and any external video source, like a game console or whatnot, and it would be nice if I could actually have DVR capabilities and record shows that way instead of continuing to rely on VHS tapes. I happen to have satellite TV and I last time I checked there weren't any satellite compatible DVRs... But still, couldn't I just tune it via the satellite box and have the DVR record it at whatever time I specify? I have quite a few questions, I know... Hopefully somebody's got answers.
