I know from the guff ive read that you can stack 2 devices together (im contemplating 2 travelers)
and hey presto double the i/o. ..but is someone out there actually doing it?

if you have any advice on what im thinking of doing please feel free to offer it!

...currently > 1ghz pb, logic, midiman midisport , akai s6000 sampler, mixing desk.

i defintely want to keep the multiple audio outputs to the mixing desk for my live shows so..

...contemplating > 1.67ghz g4 pb, logic, 2 x motu travellers, mixing desk.

questions/answers/advice welcome. also offers of 1.67 g4s for sale, 15" only, 17" just too freaky!

cheers.
faderc.

It's called an "aggregate device", and you need Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger.

In Applications --> Utilities --> Audio/MIDI Setup, choose "Audio Device Editor" from the Audio menu.
