The next meeting of the lafcpug will be Wednesday, Feb. 22 at the Gallery Theater in stunning E. Hollywood. It will be “Get Yourself Organized Night” because that’s about as good a title we can come up with. This show is going to be a good one, that I promise.
We will welcome DigitalFilm Tree's Ramy Katrib who will show off what can only be described as a FileMaker Pro digital replica of the organizing solution Walter Murch uses on his movies. Plus a demo of the # 1 storyboarding software for filmmakers, Storyboard Artist. Plus Steve Martin will return with tips and tricks on Color Correction in Final Cut Pro and show off Ripple Training’s brand new training DVD, “Color Correction for Final Cut Pro.” Plus Philip Hodgetts will show us how to convert HDV to SD 4:3 and future proof your HDV movie when and if HD distribution becomes available. Not enough? Ted Bonnitt returns with a brand new short movie, shot on 35mm and mastered to HDSR 4:4:4 DI He will talk a little about the workflow and show the movie.
Hold on, we are not done yet. Another round of Stump the Gurus and World Famous Raffle will wrap up the evening.
Get there early for this one folks.
A $5.00 donation will be respectfully requested at the door.
