In Final Cut, I am able to tell it to send the output of the canvas to my Firewire DV converter. Basically I'd like to know if I can somehow tell my iMac to output the whole screen to my Firewire DV converter - which, if possible, would essentially be an alternative to using the Apple Video Adapter.
