I can open .mov files in RealPlayer for Mac but apparently not with RealPlayer for Windows. Could a difference in the codecs that are loaded account for the difference?
Probably. I know Realplayer for Mac uses Quicktime for playback, so if it on Windows then uses Directshow you would need to install a Quicktime filter (3ivx might do the trick).
