Lost Audio Track Quicktime - MPEG, MPG, WMV

I am not sure what happened but it seems that some of my video files seem to have lost their audio tracks. I used to play the files in Quicktime with no problem. Now when I try to play the files they pause and restart and there is no audio. Has anyone else had this happen? How did you fix it?
