What video camera are you usings to shoot with before putting the footage in your mac, and how has it differed from others in the past? (im lookin for a new digital camera and wondering what some favorites of mac users are) Thanks.

first was a Canon200 (300?), worked like charm with Mac.

now SonyTRV14, very basic camera (all effects done in Mac), but perfect pic (Zeiss, very good tested ccd), very good battery management (never needed second accu), 100% compatible with Mac, robust (dropped it a few times), good audio, good handling, MINUS: menu/settings on tft only (in bright sunlight, my lil' son asks "Daddy, what are you doing under your coat??")
