I am making a Video Podcast in iMovie, and when the editing for each episode is done I would like to export it in at least three quicktime sizes: a) itunes/ipod video size, b) reasonable streaming in the web page size, c) Downloadable high quality size.

I would like to click something, go to bed, and wake up to find a folder full of uploadable files.

I haven't played with Automator much, but it doesn't seem to have iMovie actions anyway. Is iMovie applescriptable? Even so, I don't know applescript, so I would need help with that...

Any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks, I always worry about putting stuff in the wrong fourms, but I'll try there.

Is iMovie applescriptable?

not to my knowledge, but QT pro...

export your project as Full Quality QT, and use QTpro to do convertings... I don't use 10.4, but should be an easy task to tell Automator to do three exports in a row, because all your wished formats are presets in QTpro.... read the included help files of Automator...

Thanks. I was trying to avoid paying for qtpro just because all the same options are available in the custom menu of iMovie. Seems silly to pay for something I already have...
