Does anyone know how I can save a Cnet video. For example, I'd like to save one of the MacBook.

The traditional way of locating the .swf or .flv file and then copy-paste onto a download window doesn't seem to work.

In situations like that I have used SnapzProX2 by AmbrosiaSW.com to record the video from the screen as it plays.

Yes I've gotten the same advice. There must be a better way though.

If you can find the source URL try this site http://keepvid.com/

Yes, the Keepvid site is great. The trick is to find the right source URL or be directed to the location where the video is being stored. I've tried most of the ones on that page and none of them were it.

IIRC, there is a plugin for firefox that will let you save any content on a given page - including flash stuff etc.

I don't know what its called, but if you check out TUAW, I am pretty sure I saw it there first, not too long ago
