I've created a DVD project in DVD Studio Pro 2, burnt it in Toast 6 to DVD-R media. It plays fine on my TV set up with a Sharp DVD player and fine on a PC. ... but it won't play on the same G5 it was created and burnt on!
On inserting the disc into the G5 it automatically opens DVD player (version 4) but won't allow any play/menu selection etc. I have to go to the DVD player file menu and navigate to the Video TS file to open it, then it will allow play/menu select etc..
WHY?

What were the settings you used in Toast when you burned it?

Well that explains it. Any place that DVD works is a blessing. You need to set it to DVD-ROM (UDF) for it to be a valid DVD Video disc.

Many thanks for you help and pointing this out.
