How to import photos from scanner?

Hi, I am using one of those HP all in ones, and I dont know how to import photos from my scanner onto my mac, the softwares for the HP came installed on the MAC but i dont think there is a software for the scanner. Please give some advice. Thanks guys

Did you read the instructions? They HAVE to tell you how to use the scanner and provided software.

do you have adobe photoshop installed? If you have you can select FILE > IMPORT
|

Also, you can go to the HP website to find and download both the manual and the software for making the scanner work.

You can download the software from HP but if you are going to edit your photos and if you use photoshop, import your photo from photoshop. The software from HP is huge, actually i only use the driver, i have a hp psc 2410 (fax/printer/scanner/card reader)

^ umm, spammer ? : \ ...anyways, I myself use an HP All-in-One printer and I use the "Tiff to Preview" option (there are others like "tiff to photoshop" or "tiff to iphoto") . don't use any of the HP software though, do it all through the printer's buttons .
