I have Final Cut Express HD and I was wondering if there were any SDI cards that will work with it. (Or will the SDI cards available for Final Cut Pro work with FCE?)

I've not tried it but I suspect the Aja and Blackmagic cards will not work with FC Express. Third-party card support is listed as a pro-only feature by Apple. I'm guessing that since FCE doesn't support uncompressed video, it's unlikely that the manufacturers would bother supporting FCE as part of their target market.

If you just want to capture/playout DV from/to SDI, you might be able to pick up an old Miranda DV-bridge for cheap.
