Hey everyone, I need some help transferring final cut to my new MacBook. Basically I swap it over and it asks me for my serial number. The only serial # I have is my upgrade serial # and it asks me for my retail serial # but I only have the upgrade serial #. I can't find my original serial.

I was wondoering if anyone knows a way I can get it again or is there another way to transfer Final Cut without needing to use the serial number.

I'm using just a crossover cable, dragging and dropping files to new macbook.

thanks.

I no longer have my original serial number or install disk only my upgrade number.

It is not illegal, I just bought a new computer and wanted to transfer it over. I don't want to buy it again....
