I have a Sanyo HDTV with an HD Tuner built in. Currently, I get all the major networks (about 20 channels) here in Oklahoma City in all it's digital goodness. With the networks new fall lineup upcoming, I'd love to be able to record the the new season's programming. But I'm not really sure how to do that. From what I understand, I'll need a DVR. But how would that work since my HD tuner is built into the television? That is my biggest question. Would I need to buy an external HD tuner with DVR capabilities? I'd hate to do that.

Assuming my current built-in HD tuner will work with DVR box, which DVRs are recommended? Could I pause live TV? Could I burn recordings on DVDs?

Hopefully somebody can point me in the right direction.

Thanks.
