I own a mac g5 desktop and have final cut pro HD. I wanted to also install Avid but didn't know if it will work. I heard that avid can't run on the latest version of OS X. I have version 10.4.7. Will Avid work? Can my computer handle both programs?

They are seperate programs, they should be able to work together on the same computer no problem, contact Avid and ask them.
