I have old cassette audio tapes of my family singing opera and would like to get them on my mac and then burn onto CD. How do I get the songs into the Mac from a cassette recorder?

A cable from headphone output to microphone input on the Mac, then something like Roxio's CD Spin Doctor to grab the audio and get rid of hiss etc.
