There was a band who did a live concert about 10 years ago, and the only way I can find the concert is with about 8 Youtube clips. I'd love to be able to take those perfomances and listen to them on a CD or iPod. The material was never relased commercially, so I dont see it as "stealing" (and I would buy a CD of the performance if it ever came out).

Is it possible to do this with Youtube and how?

Use PodTube. Then use quicktime to extract the audio.
