The video output on a MacBook is a mini-DVI port, so you'll need an adapter to go from that to the TV.
If the TV has a DVI input, use that, since it's the highest quality. That would be a Mini-DVD to DVI adapter.

If not, it probably has VGA.

A last resort would be composite video or s-video, but the picture quality won't be that great. http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPL...plm=M9319G%2FA
Cheers

P.S. If the apple links expire, just search on the apple store for the mini-dvi cables.

Also consider a DVI to HDMI adapter. This is what I use to interface with my Sony HDTV

You'll need a Mini-DVI to DVI adapter from Apple. Then from your store of choice, you'll need a DVI to HDMI adapter cable to go from your TV to the Apple dongle.
