QT5's media skins aren't what we normally understand as skins. They aren't new UIs for the player but an embedded part of a movie. I, as a creator of a movie, can define the UI of the player while my movie plays, but it's not possible for the user the define a new standard interface for the player.

what simifilm writes is right, but if you go to resexcellence you can find some skins for qt (I'm sure you can find skins for quicktime 4, dunno for 5).
