I looked on the charismac webpage about their new version of discribe. there appears to be a burn mode that is called "cd/dvd copy". could this possibly be like the 'cd copy' in roxio toast in which you stick in a DVD, his copy..it copies it..then you slide in a DVD-R, and it burns the copy on a DVD-R? thanks
well, you can't just pop in a dvd movie and copy it unless it's not protected, but if you have a unprotected dvd, it works just like copying a cd in roxio. I forgot but I believe roxio works for dvds too?
Ok, i figured Macrovision would play a part there. so the next logical question is what format would the video need to be in in order to burn the DVD-R so it will play in a standard DVD player. would it need to be .vob, .m2v...or would i need iDVD or DVD Studio Pro to make video DVD's? thanks
