After I download my pictures in iPhoto, where do I look for to get a photo to send in an email as an attachment?

You can either do it manually or use one of the applescripts that you can download from apple. Go to the iphoto web page.

"Email" this photo should be one of the options under the 'Share' menu in iPhoto. This Applescript is probably just a stop-gap.[/list]

I agree.
All of the Applescript functions (and some others) should really be built in to iPhoto. I'm looking forward to v 1.X or 2.
