Hi, I am buying a new iMac soon, and compared to a G4 tower Im fairly limited when looking for the right video input hardware. I have been looking at the Dazzle hollywood DV (firwire) bridge, this allows a high resolution and good frame rate, this is important because I will be using it to mostly play consoles on my mac screen. But it is very expensive ($260) are ther any other solutions I should look at? I cant use a USB video input device because the resolution would be too low, I noticed when looking around for people with seperate computer monitors they can get a converter and get great quality off this(no recording though) I would love this as those products are less than $100, I dont think u can use these with the iMacs or any all-in-one computers. Does anyone have any solution?
Stuff is great, never take it for granted.
