Hi all

I'm using QT 5 on my old 5500 and finding that the quality of the MIDI sound output is very bad. It is very distorted and garbled. This occurs when playing back and recording from/to music software such as sibelius and pro tools. It appears that OMS is not the problem.

This never happened with QT 4. I am using OS 9.1

The software works perfectly in all other regards.

Anyone seen this before or have any ideas on a fix? All suggestions appreciated.

Cheers
Scotty

If you don't get any answers here, you might try the QT Talk list run by Apple. The QT engineers seem very keen on performance issues, especially if you had no problems with 4.1.
