In SoundJam when I encode a CD to mp3 it will automatically add the track number to the beginning of the file name (e.g. "01-random song name, 02-another song, etc). Is there any way to set up iTunes to do the same? Although minor, this is one thing preventing me from switching to iTunes.

Thanks

That is what the id tags are used for. If you want to make a cd that has the same playlist order just sort by track number in iTunes

There is a nice bit of software called MP3 Rage that will do what you're asking about, among many other things.
