Hi! as English is not my mother tongue, I have some questions about the subtitles of DVD:
Is there a way to save them to th disk ?
better: is it possible to extract a movie and recompress it to quicktime with the subtitles ?

I know that it is possible on peecee, but I want to do it on my mac...

oh, another question: I'm looking for a mpeg2 codec for quicktime, I heard that MediaCleaner5 have one... but I don't want to buy it just for the mpeg2 codec (indeed, I'm not even sure that this info is correct).
Are there others mpeg2 codecs? free? cheap? is it possible to obtailn the mpeg2 codec of maediaCleaner separately?

I think that the mac is not good for converting DVD movies to other formats I hope it will change soon

Read the "DVD to VCD" post under this same topic. Subtitles may be hard to do though.
