Hello everybody. I just got After Effects 4.0. I made some "tests" with some basic Photoshop 5.5 images and some movies that I captured with Premiere 5 and after I rendered and opened it with Quicktime the video was kinda sloppy when the effects (title and lens flare) showed up. Does anyone knows what's happening?

how are you rendering? it depends on a lot of stuff like frame rate, size, the compression codec you use and so..... if you are doing home video stuff go for DV, if it is for web go with Sorenson... you should get nice playback with those.
