Greetings,

Does anyone know of a USB supported digital audio optical out that is supported in OSX?

I would like to utilize this for my Minidisc player.

check this out. i think the xitel site is a little outdated, because they say that 'USB audio isn't supported by OS X at this time', and it is.

There's a new thing with SPDIFs on it, if that's what you mean.

The new M-box ProTools has SPDIFs though is not cheap at $495
Got to Digidesign to see it.

There is of course the rather groovy new powerwave from Griffin that does RCA and stuff but no Optical
here

And midiman will no doubt do an SPDIF device at some point in time.
