Will Apple have a solution for personal streaming in OS X or is there something in beta already? Sure would be nice to be able to stream a radio station or something and would kickstart Apple's movie/TV plans.

Well Gunnar,

the QuickTime Streaming Server 3 supposedly works fine with Public Beta (I haven't been able to configure it, though), so in principle - yes, "personal streaming media" will be present in Mac OS X (or Mac OS X Server 2.0). At any rate, Darwin Streaming Server should be available for Mac OS X even if Apple decides to include the QTSS only in Server 2.0 when that is released as an add-on to Client 1.0.

I think it's super cool...
